Financial Systems Review and Benchmarking

Petrus Consulting assists clients to review their financial accounting and management reporting systems. Such a review is usually carried out when management is considering investing in new systems or where there is a concern regarding the delivery capability of the reporting system.

Such a review can incorporate elements of organisational review, performance management, benchmarking and operations review. For example, providing management information to a tighter schedule will require different reporting arrangements and may require additional staff or new systems. The key performance objectives for staff may need to be reviewed and revised and targets established based on leading finance function operations

We examine the current and prospective business requirements and compare these to the functionality of current systems. We can also review the risk analysis for a system upgrade project, cost benefit analysis and return on investment analyses.
